We're Still Here!

This has taken longer than any of us expected. We're in the final push to clean out the shop, to allow the new building owners to remodel the space. At that time, we'll be moving 20 feet to the right, hopefully sometime in the next month and a half. Our address will remain the same. But there are other changes coming.

We've heard you.

There will be new management.

Working on clocks is a timely (sorry for the pun) endeavor, and often takes way longer than you would expect. Especially when there is only 1 to 2 people who can actually get the work done. We apologize for how long it's taken for us to work on your clocks. We're implementing a new system, digitizing our clients, and creating a tracking system with status updates built in. Slowly but surely, we're dragging the shop into the 21st century.

The past few years have been difficult. There have been health issues for us. Health issues of friends and family. Some recognition that things have to change on an organizational level (if you know, you know).

We are committed to that change.

We are committed to improving our relationship with our community.

We are committed to preserving the historical footprint we have in Lexington.

Please bear with us, it will get better.

The building renovations have messed with our phone line (yes, it's a land line) and the shop currently does not have a phone.
We're working on that.
In the meantime, you can contact us through the form on the page below. Please leave your phone number with the message so we can contact you more directly (there's always a worry that our responses go to spam folders).

While the shop is being remodeled, we will be working on our backlog of repairs at our home workshops.

If you have a clock with us, we have it safely stored while we're moving.

Please rest assured, these are just growing pains to switching over to new tracking systems, remodeling, and hoping to bring you a better experience.

I know the past couple of years have been difficult. Between personal illness/deaths in families/job changes/moves, it feels like we haven't been very communicative and it's concerning. It's concerning to us as well. Slowly but surely, The Clock Shop is getting dragged into the 21st century. If you are worried about your clock, please call us or email us, and one of us will call you back.
We would also like to explain that in the past, the shop has been, basically, a one man operation. The past few years, the crew has grown a bit, but the shop still existed in this bubble of tradition and operated as a one man shop. As a team, we're going to modernize processes and streamline to make your experience better. It is a process, though, and we ask your patience through this time. When the shop reopens, everyone and EVERYTHING will be returning, but with a new management system in place.
Thank you so much for everything over the years, we hope to continue serving you for years to come.
